Activities as Diverse as Our Community

Women's Civic and Social Groups
Three clubs — Gadabouts, Go Getters, and Happy Wanderers — meet monthly for trips, speakers, games, or socialization as well as lunch. They also raise funds to support local charities and schools.

Craft and Hobby Clubs
The Stitchers and Quilters celebrate all types of sewing and quilting.  Activities range from needlework, knitting, crocheting and crafts to machine embroidery and long-arm quilting.  The Stitchers work on charity projects, an annual membership tea and a bi-annual quilt show.
The Garden Club gives those who enjoy working outdoors the opportunity to make Sugar Springs more beautiful. The Garden Club maintains the gardens found throughout the development, including The Hearth, the beach clubs, POA office, and Sugar Springs entries.  The club also sponsors a bi-annual garden tour.  Come on out and “get those hands dirty?” with the Garden Club!
The Beading Club comes together twice each month to explore and practice all types of jewelry making patterns, materials, tips and techniques.  Members may work on individual projects or one member may teach a class.  This is a very member-driven group.
The Sugar Springs Artists promotes creativity in our community.  Members meet for instruction and practice in all mediums.  The group sponsors an annual art show that includes acrylics, batiks, drawings, fabric art, collages, oils, photography and watercolors.
The Machine Embroidery Club explores the basic and advanced techniques of computerized embroidery machines. The group is led by an accomplished fabric artisan, as well as an authority on the machines
Games
Mah Jongg meets weekly to teach and play this ancient game of strategy.

Team Trivia is a fun weekly event with teams picked at random. The goal is fun and socializing.

Card Players meet at various times each week for Euchre, Bridge and Pinochle.

Corn Hole Toss, Pickle Ball and Boche Ball
